The Lorentz PS range of DC powered pumps are specifically designed for solar powered borehole applications and

feature a remote surface mounted controller. Two types are available, centrifugal for high flow and helical rotor for high

pressure to give maximum system efficiency in all installations. Pumps are constructed from AISI 304/316 stainless steel

throughout and are engineered to the highest standards to give full serviceability, excellent efficiency, high reliability and

a long life.

 

Pump output curves are given at standard test conditions of 1000W/m solar irradiance and 25 C .

For estimated daily outputs at continuous pumping multiply by the daily irradiation given in Graph 1. For indicative purposes factors of 1.1 can be applied for hot arid areas at 0.9 for temperate high altitude areas in East Africa.

 

Output will vary through out the day as a proportion of the estimated hourly irradiation as shown in Graph 2.
